Does the Sans air purifier actually get rid of the constant wet dog smell? Or is it a waste of money?

So recently I’ve been seeing loads of ads for air purifiers on facebook, so I guess they know I'm a dog mom because of all the groups I'm in lol.

And as much as I love my fox red lab Rolo, he does seem to shed all over and stink up my house on a daily basis.

I’d tried air purifiers before that were like $50 but none of them really seemed to work and they were so loud, they spent more time in the attic than they did on the floor…

The idea that they could turn my house from smelling like a wet dog into the fresh smell of the groomers seemed a little unbelievable and too far out of reach.

Which is why I didn't get another one until I found Sans.

Why even try an air purifier to begin with?

The turning point was after I’d spent ages cleaning the house ready for a girls night with my best friends Sarah, Lauren and Helen, only for Sarah to turn around after about 10 minutes asking if we could go to someone else's because the smell was “just too much”.

I'm not gonna lie, I was embarrassed by that comment and I was a little annoyed that my cleaning earlier in the day had done nothing about Rolo’s smell.

The rest of the night I felt off, and it kind of ruined my night. One because now I felt so awkward inviting any of them round to mine for any other nights like this and 2 because deep down, I loved going over to any of their houses where I didn't have to deal with fluff and hair everywhere.

Plus, my anxiety about inviting any dates back to mine only got worse after that night.

Over the next few days I tried pretty much everything to get rid of the smell…

I tried diffusers with essential oils, sprayed deodorizers and chemicals all over the house, but as soon as I’d open the windows for some fresh air it would all just go away.

I even took Rolo for an expensive deep clean at the groomers, but it didn't solve the problem of the smell already in the house and after one walk the scent had pretty much gone for good.

I love Rolo so much and since I got him I can't imagine what the house would feel like without him…

But at the same time I didn't want to be the person all my friends avoid because my house stinks of him all the time.

The next ad for an Air purifier I saw was from this company Sans, at $369 it might have seemed like a desperate attempt to stop the constant damp smell of Rolo but after reading the reviews from so many different dog owners just like me I decided to give it a go and ordered one with next day delivery.

If it didn't work I could send it back in 30 days for a full refund anyway, so why not at least try it.

HEPA-13 Filter:

traps 99.97% of particles, including those even smaller than viruses & bacteria.

The Results Were Surprising…

With over 1000 reviews all either 4 or 5 stars and mainly being from dog owners, I had high hopes from the start and that in a few days time I wouldn't be the ‘wet dog lady’ I was at the time.

Obviously I didn't read all 1000 reviews, but from what I did read they were all good and from shopping around, Sans has all the best features of the really expensive ones like HEPA-13 filters and activated carbon, but without the $1000 price tag.

I'm not gonna lie the first few days I wouldn't really notice much of a difference. I mean there weren't as many hairs floating around and they were still on the couch from where Rolo was lying.

And being nose blind meant I couldn't really tell if it had helped the smell of damp, wet dog.

That was until Sarah popped round for a book that I borrowed a few months back and hadn't given back yet. She said she was sorry for the comment on our last girls night, and that “It smells so much cleaner now”.

Sarah saw one of the pointless diffusers on the kitchen counter and asked what oil I'd put in to get it smelling so fresh, but I said I hadn't even turned it on for days now and showed her my new Sans air purifier that was sitting in the corner by the window.

It didn't stop me from having to vacuum the hairs embedded in the couch, but it did end the damp dog smell that even chemicals couldn't solve.

After having my sans on auto-mode for the past few weeks , I can see why everyone loves them, especially dog owners.

I don't have to worry and clean everytime I’m hosting a girls or a movie night because of the smell and since Lauren has got a new pup I can really tell the difference between the smell of a clean home and the smell of a wet, damp dog.

Not because I don't have to get him cleaned at the groomers or that he's stopped shedding completely, I do. But because It just gives me that piece of mind that my home doesn't stink, and I think at the bare minimum that's what we all want, right?

If you are in the same position I was, always cleaning, spraying chemicals and vacuuming more times that you count, Sans Offer a 100% risk-free 30 day return policy.

So if you don't absolutely love how much cleaner and fresher your home smells and feels, they will give you a full refund and even cover your shipping of sending it back to them.

In my eyes it's a no-brainer.

You either get rid of the constant dog smell or your money back hassle free.

I did and I haven't looked back since.
